*having Baptisms in a pool. We don't have a building of our own, so we gather at someone's house, they bless the water and then baptise in it. Afterwards, we have a potluck meal and the pool is open and the water is still holy.. lol :)

*being in a church where people are ridiculously fun and full of laughs. That's our Pastor in the picture...he went off the deep end. :)

*working together to improve buildings in other communities .

*sharing their grief with the loss of that same building to fire a month later.

*getting together to "haunt" places during Halloween.

*how we come together every Sunday to worship and grow in Christ no matter where we hold services.

We've been in a dance hall, a movie theater, a high school, the outdoors and at the YMCA. Each place is unique, but they share the same common bond... you can feel God's presence and we are not there by luck, but by divine appointment.
For what it's worth, the churches are changing. Some are dropping the religious spiel and moving on into relationship. The whole truth behind the matter is you were on His mind, when He was on the cross. Everything else is just in the details.
If you're nearby, you can come to my church no matter who you are or what it's been like in your life... because none of us are perfect, socks are optional, hope is alive and it's really okay to not be okay. If you don't live nearby, I encourage you to look... to see what it's about nowadays. Find a non-denominational one and give it a go... you might just like it.
