Day 29, to me though, means that I've created some new habits and tossed out some old ones. Those that stick out to me most relate to food. I've given up candy bars/cookies/cake & such and replaced it with fruit, the occasional fat free pudding and flavored drinks instead. And you know what, it's okay! I've given up McDonald's (still eat at Subway, but that's next on the cut list), have an occasional meal at Wendy's (love their baked potato) but most of the time we eat at home. And you know what, it's okay! I don't exercise every day, but I exercised about 1/2 the month of June away. And you know what, it wasn't easy, but it was okay! I'm healthier. I'm stronger. I feel better. And you know what, it's okay.
Listen to the mustn't, child,
listen to the don'ts,
listen to the shouldn'ts,
the impossibles, the won'ts,
listen to the never haves,
then listen close to me -
anything can happen, child.
Anything can be.
