It's been a long time since I've added an update to life around here. I have a file on my desktop of things I want to blog about, but I just never get around to doing it. So here's the topic list along with a quick rundown.. aka the cheat sheet.
sandy, joe: My sister and her son's family came to visit back in May. It was nice to see them.
end of the world: Things like this bug me... no one but our Father knows the time.
mothers day: Nice quiet day
sarah home: Sarah called last minute and asked me to come pick her up for the summer. I'm so glad it worked out that way, she was so sick.
joplin: Two days later, the tornado blew through. I know she would have been out and about and probably in the middle of it. Praise God for His protection. My heart goes out to everyone who was there.
weight watchers: Carl & I joined WW in June. As of this post, he's lost 17lbs and I've lost 18.
engagement: Joe (Kelly's boyfriend) asked us if it would be okay if he asked her to marry him. We said yes, she said "seriously?" about 15 times before she said "of course." Two years and I guess we'll have a son-in-law.
sarah moved: Sarah got a job and moved in with a friend and is doing well. She's living in town and I'm happy for her.
kelly's job: For most of the summer so far, their AC has been broken and it's been so hot. I don't know how they do it with the temps we've had. Oh and she quit one day, but after talking with the managers, she went back. Good times. lol
gas prices: Just pinch the fat right off my arm please... it would hurt less.
So yep, that's the wrap up. Our life highlights, lowlights and all in between!
