I didn't end up going to jail over the guacamole. It's a good thing too, life was too busy for that. But a good friend did pick up the check for me without missing a beat.
Updates from the Life post:
*planning a church event
We held our festival and it was 107° with heat index. It was terribly hot but it was one of the best days ever because God's glory was shared with so many new people. We did have a nice turnout considering the heat. The fun was immense and it was just a great day all around.
Carl made a reverse dunk tank that was a bunch of fun and I have to show off the pictures. I promise you, that water was straight from the spigot and cold!

*preparing for the upcoming homeschool year
We started school on the 23rd and so far so good.. lol By that, I mean we haven't missed any days. That's always subject to change though. I stepped down from the homeschool board and feel very relieved for doing so. And we joined a second homeschool group that offered more.
*sweating ridiculously because of this incessant heat
From July to September we had all but 5 days that weren't above 95°
*spending time with Sarah before she returns to college
We took her back on the 18th. She sang loudly the whole way there. She had in earbuds. It's annoying. I love her.
*watching Kelly leave for a long vacationShe had a great time. She went to Canada (old Quebec City/Niagra Falls), New York (Times Square/Statue of Liberty), Philadelphia, Maine and several other states in that area. She killed her phone while she was gone and managed to get grilled by the Canadian Border Patrol. It's kind of scary and definitely weird when you receive a call from them while going through a drive through at Mickey D's. I mean, who do you ask "would you hold on for a second?" The order taker or border patrol? I didn't know the answer either...
*not cleaning my house like I should.
Hahahaha... somethings NEVER change.
