I don't know why I do this, but I really like to read what others are having and I guess I think turnabout is fair play... lol. I admit though, I was very glad to visit the site today. I found a couple of great links while there and just had to add them in.
Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes
Tuesday: Tuna Casserole,

Saturday: Baked Potatoes
Sunday: Sloppy Joes, corn on the cob, green beans
Just in case your wondering, I make the best gravy and it's from a mix. I found this package of gravy once for a dollar at the local discount bread store. I love it, my family loves it, its' cheap and it only takes like 5 minutes from start to finish. And it never fails me.
I still give kudos to my mom though for the absolute best gravy in the world and hers isn't from a bag.. lol :)
Here are those links from earlier...

It took many years for my hubby to stop buying gravy packets. I taught my son how to make gravy and when my husband saw how easy it was he now makes it from scratch.
ReplyDeleteI don't have to tell you how much better it is.
I'm always on the lookout for yummy menu choices. We're still having to watch our pennies.
I couldn't agree more, homemade gravy is the absolute best. I can cook just about anything, but my gravy is consistently full of flour balls.. lol. I figure for a dollar, this is going to have to give me that fix from time to time.. lol :) Thanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteHey, you're doing better than I am. Since I don't like gravy myself, I usually buy it in the jar for the poor souls at my table who do. I just don't like to make what I don't want to eat!
