Menu Plan Monday - Doesn't get any easier than this.

mpm2-1

I don't know why I do this, but I really like to read what others are having and I guess I think turnabout is fair play... lol.  I admit though, I was very glad to visit the site today.  I found a couple of great links while there and just had to add them in.

Monday:  Meatloaf, mashed potatoes
Tuesday: Tuna Casserole,
Wednesday:  Biscuits and Gravy, sausage
Thursday:  BBQ Chicken, cole slaw, green beans
Friday:  --tba
Saturday:  Baked Potatoes
Sunday:  Sloppy Joes, corn on the cob, green beans

Just in case your wondering, I make the best gravy and it's from a mix.  I found this package of gravy once for a dollar at the local discount bread store.  I love it, my family loves it, its' cheap and it only takes like 5 minutes from start to finish.  And it never fails me.

I still give kudos to my mom though for the absolute best gravy in the world and hers isn't from a bag.. lol :)

  1. It took many years for my hubby to stop buying gravy packets. I taught my son how to make gravy and when my husband saw how easy it was he now makes it from scratch.
I don't have to tell you how much better it is.
I'm always on the lookout for yummy menu choices. We're still having to watch our pennies.

  2. I couldn't agree more, homemade gravy is the absolute best. I can cook just about anything, but my gravy is consistently full of flour balls.. lol. I figure for a dollar, this is going to have to give me that fix from time to time.. lol :) Thanks for coming by!

  3. Hey, you're doing better than I am. Since I don't like gravy myself, I usually buy it in the jar for the poor souls at my table who do. I just don't like to make what I don't want to eat!
